Hans Zimmer, one of the most successful film composers of our time, releases an unforgettable concert experience as a film in Dolby Atmos on Blu-ray. On Live In Prague, Zimmer presents pieces from scores of over twenty films, including Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes and The Lion King.

For this incredible live show, Hans Zimmer was accompanied by an ensemble of 72 musicians, including a full choir, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and a 21-piece band of hand-picked musicians and friends. Among them are high-profile guests such as Lisa Gerrard, who sang on the soundtrack for Gladiator, and Mike Einziger of the rock band Incubus. Johnny Marr, former guitarist and co-songwriter of The Smiths, is also there. He worked together with Hans Zimmer on the film music for Inception and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Hans Zimmer himself performs on several instruments during the concert and gives insights into many of his pieces. On the Blu-ray, Dolby Atmos surround sound provides the ultimate listening experience! Besides the beautiful sounds, a groundbreaking light show and breathtaking images were part of this spectacular stage production. The concert was recorded in Prague on 6 May 2016 as part of Hans Zimmer’s major European tour.
