For the album “The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration” Hans Zimmer has rearranged his greatest hits and created sonorous concert suites for orchestra, choir and the impressive line-up of soloists from his band. In each concert suite, Hans Zimmer processes the most striking melodies of a soundtrack and develops a new, self-contained symphonic work from them. The film music from “The Dark Knight”, “The Da Vinci Code”, “The Lion King”, “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “M:i-2 Mission: Impossible 2″ can be heard like never before. An exciting new listening experience, in which the great band of well-known soloists and singers also plays its part. Among the renowned musicians are long-time musical partners of Hans Zimmer, Gavin Greenaway (Musical Director), Lisa Gerrard or multi-instrumentalist Pedro Eustache, but also the new star singer of the Vienna Opera Valentina Nafornita.

The album was recorded with the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna and the choir Neue Wiener Stimmen, conducted by Martin Gellner. The World of Hans Zimmer” was recorded at the legendary Vienna Konzerthaus as part of the “Hollywood in Vienna” gala. A very special evening during the spectacular “The World of Hans Zimmer” tour, which has thrilled millions of fans worldwide.

This unique concert experience with Hans Zimmer as special guest also on stage is now available as BluRay for the first time. The Extended Version of “The World of Hans Zimmer” includes the original double CD with bonus track “Time (Alan Walker Remix)” and “The World of Hans Zimmer – Live at Hollywood in Vienna” as BluRay. In addition to the concert, the BluRay includes six music videos from the “Enter The World of Hans Zimmer” Video Competition and the music video for “Time (Alan Walker Remix)” – a collaboration between Hans Zimmer and Alan Walker.
