In 2014, BT announced its Kickstarter-funded project Electronic Opus with renowned video game composer Tommy Tallarico, a campaign to combine his classic dance tracks with orchestral arrangements to create a groundbreaking musical experience.

It was a journey that no one had expected. 2,177 fans raised over $250,000 to bring Electronic Opus to life and record his greatest hits alongside a full symphony orchestra in Prague, culminating in a stunning live performance during Miami Music Week in March 2015.

For the release of Electronic Opus, fourteen popular BT tracks have been reworked into a fantastic exploration of classical arrangements, electronic dance frequencies and experimental sound processing techniques. Thanks to the dedication and creativity of TanZ’s production team, conductor Eímear Noon, Milk & Honey, Tommy Tallarico and BT, Electronic Opus represents a shift in the way dance music and EDM are perceived from now on.

Auro Technologies and Black Hole have teamed up to take Electronic Opus to a new level. Auro’s groundbreaking technologies are used to create a 9.1 Auro-3D mix for a high-resolution Pure Audio Blu Ray release. In addition, a 5.1 DTS-HD and a 2.0 LCPM stereo mix are also included on the Pure Audio Blu-ray.
