After the albums “Dear Future Self” and “Galvany Street”, “Movements”, a Booka Shade classic, is now being re-released with Dolby Atmos on Pure Audio Blu-ray.

The album from 2006 brought the Berlin duo international success with well-known club hits like “Mandarin Girl” and “Body Language (Interpretation)”. Now these iconic pieces are given a new sonic dimension through the Dolby Atmos mix. “Movements” stood out for its successful blending of the sounds of electronic greats like Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream with the characteristic rhythms of techno.

The newly revised mixes of the songs were created in collaboration with the experienced immersive mix & mastering engineer Fritz Hilpert (Kraftwerk), who was already involved in the Dolby Atmos mixes of the album “Dear Future Self” from 2020, which was nominated for “Best Immersive Audio Album” at the 63rd Grammy Awards.
