“Closure/Continuation Live” impressively documents Porcupine Tree’s return to the stage. The recording of the show at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 7 November 2022 shows the band in front of 17,000 people. The live recording allows the listener/viewer to experience the atmosphere up close, while psychotropic visuals accompany the stage action behind the band. Porcupine Tree, meanwhile, play a set of superlative songs that contains – to use Steven Wilson’s words – “no hits”, and yet each song is received like an anthem from an alternate universe.

The 2 CD/2 Blu-ray Deluxe Box contains the complete live show as well as bonus material on the Blu-ray Video. In addition to the Dolby Atmos mix, the audio Blu-ray also offers a 5.1 surround sound mix and a 24-bit high-res stereo mix. The tracklist includes live recordings from the 2022 reunion album, including the singles “Harridan” and “Of The New Day”, as well as classics such as “Trains”, “Fear Of A Blank Planet” and “Anesthetize”.
