With the Blu-ray Audio Edition celebrating the first anniversary of his album “Magic Oneohtrix Point Never”, Daniel Lopatin proves the ability to present his work as multiple, sonically and visually impressive experiences. The innovative Dolby Atmos mix is OPN’s first official exploration of immersive audio away from its soundtracks to Uncut Gems and Good Time. The Blu-ray audio comes in new artwork including an animated menu by Robert Beatty.

Alongside the original stereo album, the Blu-ray audio includes 4 additional bonus songs in the form of a fascinating juxtaposition of two alternative takes of “Lost But Never Alone” by OPN themselves and PC Music boss A. G. Cook, as well as by two of the most unique female voices of the last 40 years of experimental pop music: the haunting “Nothing’s Special” rework with ROSALÍA and the lilting “Tales From The Trash Stratum” dreamscape with Elizabeth Fraser (Cocteau Twins).

The package also includes 16 music videos as a career-spanning anthology of OPN’s audiovisual work to date, which even had its own exhibition at the Hammer Museum in LA in 2016. Directed by Josh & Benny Safdie, Takeshi Murata and Nate Boyce, it features stars such as Robert Patinson, Val Kilmer, Iggy Pop as well as the famous brutalist architecture of London’s Barbican Centre.
