new birthday is the first LP album of Post Scriptum Jazz – young performers from Belarus who are playing their own compositions. The musicians experiment with Latin American,
classical, soul and fusion music and are inspired by artists such as Joshua Redman, Brad Melhdau, Chick Corea, Robert Glasper, Aaron Parks, Cory Henry, Mark Guiliana and Seamus Blake. The quintet was formed by saxophonist Kyril Matsenka in 2012 and includes Eugene Ryshkevich on guitar, Pawel Orlow on bass, Alexey Maksimov on drums and Alexey Kazak on piano. All five members are active as composers and arrangers who collaborate outside of Post Scriptum Jazz with internationally renowned Artist such as Bob Sheppard, Arturo Sandoval and Cleveland Watkiss.

The Album is born at a place, where there is currently no place for it. In spite of everything, the music is full of energy, beautiful melodies and aspiration. The recording took place at the Everest Media studio in Minsk on a vintage SSL 4000 Console and was mixed in stereo and immersive sound by producer and engineer Kseniya Kawko. Msm studios in Munich took care of the immersive mastering in Dolby Atmos and 7.1.4 Auro-3D, the Stereo Mastering was done by cs mastering in Vienna.

Immersive Sound Art is aiming to present outstanding independent Artists in the entirely new experience of immersive audio technologies. Additional spatial information make a more natural reproduction of instrument timbres possible and lead to an acoustic envelopment that involves the listener more emotionally into the musical performance.

The reference quality product is manufactured in a sustainable process on demand and therefore issued in a hand selected numbered edition to the customer. Enjoy the music on Pure Audio Blu-ray in Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos or high resolution Stereo. The Pure Audio Blu-ray is additionally equipped with mShuttle technology – the key to access stereo files for playback when away from your Blu-ray player. All listeners that are not yet equipped with a Blu-ray player or immersive sound system will also find a common stereo CD in the album package.

This album is issued in numbered single production. Thus, each copy meets a special quality standard.

From every product sold, Immersive Sound Art and Pure Audio Recordings will jointly donate €10 to the #artistsinshelter initiative.
