Legendary punk rock icon Billy Idol makes history by performing the very first concert in front of the Hoover Dam on the border between Arizona and Nevada. A spectacular event that was filmed and immortalized for the big screen. Kicking off his sold-out spring and summer 2023 North American tour, the one-off performance lit up the surrounding Black Canyon of the Colorado River and the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and featured a career-spanning set of Idols’ chart-topping hits including “Dancing with Myself,” “Eyes Without a Face,” “Rebel Yell” and “White Wedding.”

As one of the most recognizable faces and voices in rock’n’roll, with over 40 million albums sold and numerous platinum albums worldwide, the rock star is accompanied on stage by his band, which includes his long-time colleague and lead guitarist Steve Stevens. Including a number of special guest stars such as Alison Mosshart from The Kills, former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones and No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal.

Billy Idol and his pals perform at Hoover Dam with two unique sets: a full band concert at sunset with special guests and an acoustic duo set on the roof of the power plant at the base of Hoover Dam, which spans the Colorado River. The Dolby Atmos mix on the Blu-ray really brings out the unique atmosphere of the live concert.
