On July 6, 2019, the band “The Who” gave their first concert at London’s Wembley Stadium in forty years. The show was the only concert of their “Moving On” tour in the UK and included classic songs from albums such as “Quadrophenia”, “Tommy”, “Who’s Next”, “Who Are You” as well as from their new album “WHO”, their first studio album in thirteen years. The band was accompanied by an orchestra and performed with more than 50 orchestral musicians.

The live show “The Who With Orchestra Live At Wembley” is released as a limited edition Blu-Ray + 2CD set, which includes the immersive Dolby Atmos mix. In addition, the digipack contains a booklet with previously unpublished photos of the show.

Sänger Roger Daltrey had long wanted to perform with an orchestra: “Even though we performed with an orchestra, it didn’t affect our typical sound in any way. It was The Who with all the trimmings.” Guitarist Pete Townshend commented, “Roger called this tour ‘Moving On’! I love it. That’s what we both want to do. Moving on with new music, classic Who music and all in new and exciting versions. Taking risks without losing anything.”
