With »Far and Wide«, The Pineapple Thief present their sixteenth studio album – and sound more determined and earthy than ever before. Progressive as ever, masters of a great emotion-generating atmosphere and firmly rooted in the contradictory world of the present: The band around singer and guitarist Bruce Soord has put the energy of years of touring and bigger stages directly into these songs – a decade and seven albums after drummer Gavin Harrison joined.

From the moody opener »New World Order« to the sprawling closing track »No Exceptions«, the album’s nine tracks strike with bite and weight, without sacrificing the subtle twists and natural lightness that have always defined The Pineapple Thief. » »Far and Wide« is an abstract collection of feelings about the state of the world – rock songs with real class and depth that tap into human experiences in a way that perhaps only music can.

The limited artbook set (2CD + Blu-ray) combines the album including the bonus track »Daylight« on CD1, all songs as instrumental versions on CD2 and the spatial Dolby Atmos mix on Blu-ray, supplemented by 5.1 surround and high-resolution stereo mixes. The large-format 10-inch hardcover artbook with UV varnish and 40-page booklet makes this edition a collector’s worthy work of art.
