“Eye In The Sky” was released in 1982 as the sixth studio album by The Alan Parsons Project and became the most commercially successful work of the collaboration between Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. The opening instrumental “Sirius” gained fame far beyond music circles as the Chicago Bulls’ entrance music; the title track, which follows seamlessly, reached the charts in numerous countries. As with all of the project’s albums, various guest vocalists contributed—including Eric Woolfson, Colin Blunstone, and Lenny Zakatek—along with a core group of studio musicians featuring guitarist Ian Bairnson, bassist David Paton, and drummer Stuart Elliott.

This Blu-ray Audio compilation features three versions of the album: the high-resolution stereo remaster (96 kHz/24-bit) by Miles Showell from Abbey Road Studios, the 5.1 surround mix from 2017, for which Alan Parsons was posthumously awarded a Grammy Award, as well as a new Dolby Atmos mix from 2026 created by Parsons himself, based on the original multitrack tapes. A 16-page booklet featuring song lyrics, Alan Parsons’ notes on the mixes, and quotes from Eric Woolfson is also included.
