With Ascension, the Tetragon Project presents a groundbreaking album that redefines the boundaries of immersive 3D sound. At the heart of the project is composer and audio producer Stefan Zaradić, who once again serves as the creative mind behind the musical vision. Following the success of Oracles (2021), Zaradić expands his sonic palette with Ascension, combining avant-garde soundscapes with pulsating rhythms to create a unique and captivating listening experience.

Zaradić is supported by a high-caliber ensemble: long-time co-producer and renowned saxophonist and flutist Wolfgang Opitz, as well as percussionist Wolfram Winkel, an expert in minimal music who has made a name for himself internationally through collaborations with Steve Reich, among others.

Im Vergleich zu seinem Vorgänger Oracles betritt Ascension Neuland: Kraftvolle Beats und rhythmische Impulse durchziehen die komplexen Klanglandschaften, die durch intensive Improvisationssessions entstanden sind, und verleihen dem Album eine dynamische und cineastische Tiefe. Mit Ascension stellt Stefan Zaradić erneut sein Talent für die Schaffung innovativer Klangwelten unter Beweis und festigt damit die Position des Tetragon-Projekts als Vorreiter im Bereich immersives Audiodesign.
