Description

This 3CD/1Blu-ray Super Deluxe Edition presents the Talking Heads’ seminal second album,
More Songs About Buildings and Food. The collection captures a pivotal moment in the band’s development and marks the first of three albums made with producer Brian Eno.
The Super Deluxe Edition contains the remastered original album as well as 11 rarities, including four previously unreleased alternative versions of album tracks. The set also includes a live recording of the band’s August 1978 concert at New York’s Entermedia Theatre.
The accompanying Blu-ray offers video material from that show and from another performance at Sproul Plaza at the University of California, Berkeley. Special highlights are the new mixes of the album in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound by E.T. Thorngren and band member Jerry Harrison as well as a high-resolution stereo version of the album.
Rounding out the package is a 60-page hardcover book featuring previously unseen photos and new liner notes with recollections from Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz and Harrison.
