Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII, the groundbreaking concert film directed by Adrian Maben in 1972, is now being released on Blu-ray in a spectacular new version. The original material, filmed on 35mm, has been remastered and the audio remixed by Steven Wilson.

The unique music documentary was recorded against the breathtaking backdrop of the deserted Roman amphitheater of Pompeii and features an intimate Pink Floyd performance of six songs. Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII also features rare additional footage of the band at Abbey Road Studios during the first sessions for The Dark Side of the Moon.

The album will also be released alongside the film. The 2025 remix by Steven Wilson is also included.
