With “The Art of Loving”, British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean released her second studio album in 2025—a warm-hearted and thoughtfully crafted exploration of love in all its forms: romantic, platonic, self-love, and every shade in between. The album won Album of the Year at the BRIT Awards, the MOBO Awards, and the Music Producers Guild Awards, and was nominated for the 2026 Mercury Prize. Olivia Dean herself won the award for “Best New Artist” at the 68th Grammy Awards.

Largely created in a purpose-built studio in East London, the album combines classic soul and R&B with pop, jazzy accents and the warm sound of ’70s soft rock. Together with Zach Nahome and other producers such as Julian Bunetta, Matt Hales and Leon Michels, Dean created twelve songs full of honesty and depth, including the singles “Nice To Each Other”, “Man I Need” and “So Easy (To Fall In Love)”.

To mark its one-year anniversary, “The Art of Loving” will be released as a limited edition with CD and Blu-ray audio in a 6-page digisleeve. At the heart of the Blu-ray is the Dolby Atmos mix of the studio album, which spatially unfolds Dean’s voice and the finely layered arrangements of guitars, electric piano and brass. It is complemented by a 5.1 surround mix and the high-resolution stereo mix.
