Since its release in 1973, In a Glass House has been considered one of Gentle Giant’s most ambitious works and a milestone of progressive rock. The band’s fifth studio album was released shortly after Phil Shulman’s departure and marks the transition to the characteristic quintet sound: complex arrangements, changing time signatures and instrumentation recorded by the band’s five multi-instrumentalists on over 30 different instruments.

More than 50 years after the original recording, Grammy Award-winning producer Eber Pinheiro and band member Derek Shulman have completely remixed and remastered the album from the original tapes. For the first time, the work is also available in independent 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos mixes, which open up the dense arrangements of the album and make details and textures audible that have previously remained hidden.

The deluxe edition of CD and Blu-ray combines the new mix with specially designed visual accompaniment to each track. The packaging and artwork are faithful to the 1973 edition, including the iconic transparent window in the cover.
