In 1975, while Yes was taking a creative hiatus, Yes founder and bassist Chris Squire released his first solo album, *Fish Out of Water*. The album was a close collaboration with arranger Andrew Pryce Jackman, who had previously played in Chris Squire’s band The Syn, and benefited from the brilliant contributions of Bill Bruford (drums), Patrick Moraz (keyboards), Mel Collins (King Crimson), and Jimmy Hastings (Caravan). Featuring five original compositions and thoughtful harmonies in a classic progressive rock style, “Fish Out of Water” quickly charted in the Top 30 in the UK and the Top 75 in the U.S., and has sold approximately 500,000 copies to date.

To mark the 50th anniversary, renowned engineer Stephen W. Tayler has created entirely new mixes from the multitrack recordings—not just a new stereo version, but also a sophisticated 5.1 surround mix and a spatial Dolby Atmos mix. These two new mixes reveal the compositional details and microtonal nuances in the four-part harmonies with unprecedented clarity and depth. The Blu-ray also includes scenes from the original 1975 film as well as an audio commentary by Chris Squire himself from 2006.
