More than ten years after its initial release, the cult album “Convergence” by Malia and Boris Blank is now available as a Dolby Atmos Reference Edition on Blu-ray Audio—featuring the brand-new track “Dancing Flame.”

Released in 2014, the album combines Malia’s soulful jazz vocals with the innovative soundscapes of Yello sound visionary Boris Blank and remains a favorite among fans of electronic pop music to this day. The eleven songs on the original album tell stories of life and survival, of spirits, love, and spirituality—musically carried by Blank’s unmistakable sonic language, which he has been shaping for decades as a co-founder of Yello.

For the Reference Edition, Boris Blank and sound engineer Leoš Gerteis completely remixed the album in Dolby Atmos. The result is an immersive 3D sound experience with impressive spatiality, new sonic depth, and gripping emotional intensity.
